Well, I think I wouldn't like them anyway. I saw a Fallout collection box for sale for like $20 in a local electronics store and nearly bought it, but I struggle to play games as it is. That whole top-down tiny-people turn-based thing never really pushed my buttons.

I linked to the original source(s) a few posts further up, but not to the NMA article. Supposedly the NMA ones are actually better as they're corrected for camera angle.

Neither did it push my buttons until I tried Fallout 1 & 2. That was my first turn-based, fixed isometric view game (I still rarely play turn-based games), and now they are among my favourite games. The story, the atmosphere and the characters are whats so great about these games, not graphics or combat.

Fallout 1 was my first real RPG and I was so afraid for the life of my character at the beginning that I was saving after every rat kill in the Vault 13 cave. :cheeky:
