So got the code up and working. That was a bit of nightmare, but got it done after 2 days. Now to ensure it works fine without any extra stuff needing to be installed (c++ distributables etc). Next step after that will be to get a build up on steam which looks to be extremely simple to do, after having watched the video tutorials they have available.
Plan to do that on the weekend. So should be up, touch wood, in a few days. After that, I'll be looking into adding in some minor enhancements.
It's weird programming again after stopping 2 years ago (soon after Dragon's Castle's release) due to lack of motivation. Good side is that it all comes back quite quickly.

I like physics and platformers and physicsy platformers, so I picked this up today. It's good! I think the game it reminds me most of is Gish.

icemann, I always wondered how Steam sales work vis a vis the publisher. Do you have any control over whether your game is discounted and how big the discount is?

Correct. 100% control over all of it. Get to decide how much, when etc.

Be sure to give the level editor a go. If you make anything, feel free to send it over.
