Ok, i'm not too familiar with bitmap flames and all that. I just downloaded this one:
(
http://www.southquarter.com/christine/dromed/Syi/lit_Candle.zip)
Then i loaded the .vbr file into my mission. Maybe i'm doing something wrong.
I just added the property on the flame after i placed it in the thief world.

The candle flame is a bitmap worldspace object, yes?
Yandros on 4/9/2013 at 23:46
Which means, the bitmap for the flame is in the \bitmap\txt folder, right?
ZylonBane on 5/9/2013 at 00:46
Or, that it already had the Bitmap Worldspace property. If it's a corona, adding that will do nothing.

The candle flame is a bitmap worldspace object, yes? Because you had a ? at the end i guessed that was a question. And then i told you that i'm not too familiar with bitmap stuff. I don't know what wordspace means, sorry. As i said, i downloaded that multibrush, loaded it in dromed. Then there is these files:
/Bitmap/Ccon.tga
/Bitmap/CFlame.tga
/Bitmap/txt16/CFlame00.tga
/Bitmap/txt16/CFlame01.tga
All the tga files looks like a flame.

To fix your flame, just make the flame immobile, and adjust the x,y, to line up with the wick. I have used bitmap flames, and if you don't have a vhot to work with, this method will work fine.

Thanks MysteryMan, i will check that out. But where to adjust the x,y?

x,y,z co-ordinance at the lower left of the dromed screen. You have either the y, or x set nicely, you just need to move the flame a little to get it perfectly aligned.
If that flame is an object, you can adjust the x, one click at a time, and the y one click at a time. You can remake the flame using a bitmap by using it as a child of flame. Adjust the bounding dimensions, and particle size to get your flame smooth like you have it in the photo. That is a great looking candle flame by the way!
Under particles, you should have an option for "Attached to object, or Immobile"

I tried but i can't get this to work. If i don't, i have another working lit candle, not so fancy but it'll do.
Thanks for the answers though :)

Cripes...
1. Create an object. Just a plain, nothing, Object (-1) object.
2. Set Position -> Bank: 4000
3. Add Shape -> Model Name: CFlame
4. Add Renderer -> Render Type: Unlit
5. Add Renderer -> Alpha Blend Mode: Add
6. Add Renderer -> Bitmap Worldspace:
- x size: 1
- y size: 1
- x feet: 1
- y feet: 1
- Flags: Double sided, Face camera (axial), No UV Tiling
Test the mission.
