Yeah Spaced is great. Green Wing too. And many others.
But we don't seem to have any good current stuff.
THIS.
I used to be teary-eyed and sentimental about how UK TV was the best ever, but then shows like The Wire, Breaking Bad, Generation Kill, Band of Brothers etc... pretty much changed the playing field. That said, I still have a lot of love for UK crime dramas, Waking the Dead, Silent Witness etc...

Can't wait for this. I enjoyed 2 out of 3 of the first season (15m merits didn't work for me).
Peep Show is an awesome British show that's still going!

15M merits was my least favorite the first time I saw them but on second viewing it really works.
The new one is out tomorrow and the trailer looks... ace.

For me it was "The Entire History of You" that I liked least; "15 Million Merits" clicked pretty much immediately, even though it was more sci-fi and out there on the surface. What I found fascinating about "The Entire History of You", though, is how the main (male) character ends up being right about his girlfriend - and it doesn't make him the tiniest bit less unlikeable. He is right, yet it's exactly in how he goes about being right that makes it so easy to see why his girlfriend might end up doing what she did. However, it was also the guy's fundamental dickishness that made the episode unpleasant to watch for me. I simply couldn't muster much of a shread of sympathy for him.
Very curious about S2! (And glad we've got Channel 4 and Film Four - I'd give 99% of all the channels we've got on TV for those two if I didn't have them...)

I get what 15m merits was doing - I actually like the story and ideas behind it, but the episode didn't work for me... Not sure if it was the acting or that the satire was too obvious, but yeah. I'm hearing this new one is good. The series trailer and the episode trailer both got me pretty psyched.

Well that was... weird. I suspect it'll be better on second viewing but it was a little underwhelming.
Don't get me wrong; it was good, and I especially love the interpretation of future tech in all of these, but it's just a worthy addition to the series and I was psyched for something more.

I have been watching BBC America for Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and Ramsay Behind Bars. As a pantry chef, I appreciate this stuff to no end.

I am not a car person by any stretch of the imagination, but I can't get enough of Top Gear's three British jerks driving fancy wheels and making fun of each other.

Oi, I've been getting into it and really enjoying it, until Netflix decided to mysteriously pull it as I was halfway through season 2 :/

We watched the first new episode of Black Mirror yesterday. Best of the series so far, I think; little satire, but very poignant with a surprising, bitter bite to the ending.
Has anyone here been watching Utopia on Channel Four? It sounds like it could either be very good or total tripe...
