Oh God.

Dethchap is right about the Daily Mail, but it's hard to dismiss a paper with such a huge readership. Second only to The Sun. In fact, the more you think about it, the more you begin to find your disdain pointing at Other People rather than the papers. Then you realise that it's a feedback loop and while you can't legislate other people's thoughts and personalities, it'd be interesting to see what happened if newspaper's factual content was regulated (imagine if references had to be cited like in academia for example).
But that's a whole other topic. I may have to give Black Mirror a spin if it's really good. Always loved Brooker ever since TV Go Home.

You mean you haven't watched any of it?
Philistine.
Begin now. It doesn't matter what order you watch them in, I don't think, and there are 5 episodes on 4OD.
Actually he may be building up to something so perhaps its best to watch them in order. They are all good so it won't matter.

There's a reason I haven't watched them yet. It also begins ph- but doesn't end -ilistine.
I will prioritise that though as I'm hearing far too many good things about it and want to watch whatever it is before someone tells me anything in conversation about the content. So far, I have no idea what to expect and I've found that is the best way to watch anything.

Haven't watched the fifth episode yet, but I'm looking forward to it. The preview looked suitably creepy.
How's Lenora Crichlow in it? I always thought that she was the weakest link, acting-wise, in Being Human. She had good moments, but most of the time she brought out the worst in the scripts.

I've never watched Being Human and I had to look her up. She was really good in Black Mirror.
I recognised her but looking at here Wiki page I can't see what I'd know her from. It's really bugging me.
WATCH IT

I've now watched episode 2; still very good, but the first episode (of series 2, that is) resonated more with me. The irony of the situation felt more heavy-handed, perhaps mostly so because I cannot relate at all to the "must film everything and put it online" thing.
Very curious about the third episode - and I'm thinking I should check out Dead Set.

Hmm. I didn't even know about that. I'm all over it.

Part of me wants to believe that this is some sort of ARG Black Mirror tie-in site... Sometimes I think we're getting closer and closer to the world of Transmetropolitan, via Charlie Brooker...
