I'm not sure how useful this news is, but Apogee Software has released the source code for Blake Stone: Planet Strike (not the more well known, Aliens of Gold).

If you don't know, Blake Stone was a fun FPS (powered by Wolf 3D engine), inspired by 1950's British scifi. You can get it off GOG or Steam.

The linked blog post by the ECWolf author mentions that a lot of the AoD-specific code is there, just commented out.
