Blizzard haven't finished raping their customers' wallets just yet - by EvaUnit02

If Blizzard gets any more money out of these poor saps, the world economy will suffer a division by zero error; thus destroying every race, nation, and people.
This money-whoring is nothing more than a fresh bucket full of crap to toss on top of the already heaping pile of shit that has been Blizzard since Diablo 2's release.

True that. Too bad it couldn't be free, but you can't ask too much from corporations these days.
But that's what many korean MMOs do. They run the game without a monthly fee, just have a shop with premium items for sale. Don't you want to buy yourself a +50% XP boost for an hour? Don't you want self-buff scrolls? Once you buy from a premium shop there's no going back, too.
And it works. kRO(That's Ragnarok Online not Red Orchestra for you young'uns) opened a free-to-play server five months ago and it generated more revenue than all monthly fee ones combined in the last two years.
Of course there are serious questions about balance in a game where real money can make you better, but why would companies care...

So it's not because you're a glittering gem of hatred?

Now your arguing with your own posts? Time to take those pills Koki.
Also I disagree that Blizzard is becoming all about money. But whose to say now after the Activision merger.
Wrath of the Lich King, Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 look fucking awesome though. So I disagree overall on them being all about money. That said the customization thing is 100% revenue raising so I`ll give a point for that.

so lets see if I get this right... instead of one expansion, they'll make two! holy shit!!!!
if the starcraft2 campaign will only have 10 missions, which would correspond to the starcraft campaign split in 3, then there's something behind that, otherwise it's an overreaction.
they've mainly chosen to focus heavily on each race in each part of the "trilogy" of main game and expansion, instead of featuring all races in each expansion, am I right there?

So, wait, what sort of customisation? Are people going to be able to spend real money for Epic gear now? Or are we talking purely cosmetic stuff? I know there's the new Barbershop, but i think that one's free.
