Enjoy your day off! And don't feel bad about Britain not being prepared for the snowstorm; our southern & southwestern states still close down if they get more than an inch of snow! ;) But up here in the rugged Midwest you'll find most of us still driving to & from work during blizzards. :(
Dude, if I was able to get my bike out of the road I live on I would have made it to work... and yes public transport in the south east is a joke, would you beleive that most of the house of commons didnt make into work...

Geez! Why don't I ever get a snow day? :(
Yeah, yeah, I know...it doesn't snow this deep in the south. We had a light covering of snow this winter that didn't even last overnight. My last Christmas living in New Orleans, we had enough snow to collect it out of the beds of pickup trucks up & down the street and make a cute little 18" high snowman with a mini carrot for a nose. I would be glad to trade some cold weather for some of this Texas sunshine!!

I missed 3 days last week from the ice storm and snow we had here. I could have gotten to work the third day, but preschool was closed, so I had to stay home.

Well like most of London today, I am stuck at home due to 3" of snow, I cant ride my bike in that and the trains arent running either... youd think with several days advanced warning the local councils and public transport system would have prepared for it like.. sheesh...
So I thought I would replay some old missions, any suggestions..?
Lucky you.
Most of my day has been spent trying to get to Amsterdam. Luckily I flew from Birmingham which wasn't as badly affected as London. After the first runway closure of the day caused us to sit around the airport, they let us on the plane and then closed it again before we took off*. Then we had fun sitting on a plane for 1.5 hours before finally getting going.
* thanks to the 2 people who didn't turn up for the flight causing us to miss the short take off window as their bags were unloaded from the plane.
