Looks great, Thrust-like games always get my attention. Keep us posted on how it plays (assuming you are getting it).
I'm hesitant to buy it immediately given the huge backlog on games I have still waiting to be played. Even if it has Thrust like qualities.
The story reminds me of Knytt, it would be awesome if the game had the same single world, exploration type setup.

I've emailed Lucidity to enquire about DRM, as I wasn't able to spot any information about that.
If it's all good, I'll be picking it up, and letting you guys know what I think.

With that name, I couldn't help but assume that the game was about a zombie. I see it isn't.

Direct purchase is DRM-free, so I bought a copy.
Graphics are lovely, and it controls well. I haven't played much at all yet (it has in-game tutorial stages, which I'm still in), but there's a demo available if you don't want to wait for me :)
My only complaint is that much of the time it's very unclear whether a given piece of scenery is in the foreground of the background. There's too little to distinguish things you can happily fly past, and things you will bump into. Oh, and it could use a gamma control as well.
Those points aside, I think it's going to be great fun!

I'm enjoying this lots. I don't think it's going to be super long, but it plays really nicely. Most of the puzzles in the game involve reconfiguring your ship (or loading one of the configurations you saved earlier) to suit a particular purpose, and then flying well enough to do what needs doing.
The weight and balance of your ship is affected by the components you load onto it, so you're always keeping the physics in mind. It's not overly complicated, but it's extremely aesthetically pleasing, and the simulation keeps things interesting.
Bumping into things isn't so much of an issue any more. Dragging objects around can be a little fiddly, but for the most part it all works very well.
I thoroughly recommend at least trying the demo.

I thought it might be a sequel to
Marathon.

I was going to wait until I finished the demo before commenting, but it looks like that may take a while, so ...
Shadowcat links are the best links.
I've only played the first two levels of the demo. The mechanics look like they could potentially support an interesting puzzle game, but I haven't played enough to tell whether the designers have successfully accomplished this.
Quite apart from the puzzles, it also looks like it could potentially make an interesting racing game. The player has three thrusters: to move up, left, and right. The "up" thrusters are noticeably more powerful then the others, and the player's parts affect his movement. It looks like a skillful player could use the environment and his parts to try to make the best use of the "up thruster" - but I'm nowhere near good enough at the game to test this.
