Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this problem
There is a book that was used in the Fm Being Thief, and ever since I played that fm about a month ago, I have come across the following problem.
The main book is the one with the sigil on the left and names on the right, but then in some of the fms I've played since, I get superimposed text that pertains to the Fm I play.

It's like you copy and pasted "Being Thief" resources over your root thief2 resources. When you should have used fmsel to simply install/launch "Being Thief".

I didn't though, unless it was accidental. I don't like to mess with those files cos I really don't know what I'm doing.
How would I be ab le to fix that?
Edit: I just checked my folders and I definitely played Being Thief through Fmsel, which is in my fm folder under Documents.

Do you have a /Books folder in your main Thief2 install directory? If so, remove it and see if that fixes your problem.

Do you suggest that I remove the whole Book folder? Won't that affect other books in other fms?
I just leave that thief2 install folder without the /Books folder?

If you're using FMSel, by default all of your FM files should be in the /FMs folder of your Thief2 install directory. So the /Books folder in the main directory is not used. In fact, you shouldn't even have a /Books directory in the your Thief2 install directory, unless you're using Darkloader. So feel free to delete it. If you're unsure, just cut and paste it somewhere else on your PC, and see if that works. You can always paste it back to it's original location.

Yep, you shouldn't have a books folder in your Thief 2 folder. All the original resources are in res/books.crf (a renamed ZIP file) so you aren't deleting them, you're only deleting the books from some FM (probably Being Thief).
