I was scouring the Net for a book on the complete walk through's of the Thief Series as it stands and if not writing one and getting it published. Just wanted some feedback from anyone to tell me if they think it is a good idea or not??????

There are the individual walkthrough books for TDP, TMA, and TDS by Prima, but no Thief Gold, and there online collections of walkthroughs for all four titles made by fans and magazine writers, but not a single huge tome with all in one. The Prima guides were written early before the games were released and they have inaccuracies or suggestions that no longer apply to the released versions and future patched versions of the games. Any publishing would have to be not-for-profit. There are plenty of resources if someone wants to make a walkthrough that beats out all walkthroughs ever made, combining the best of the best. It's no longer necessary, however. But the gathering of information would be more fun and eye-opening for whomever put one together, especially if they could complete the project.

Oh good! Except for how rare it is.

Yeah, but isn't that outdated ?
It was made in 2000 or 2001

Or maybe a video walkthrough ?

The walkthroughs are as dated as the games themselves. The games' maps, loot placement, secrets, AI placement, and objectives haven't changed, so I don't know why the books would be outdated in relation. If you are talking about the inaccuracies they've always had, I already covered that.
There are video walkthroughs on YouTube, and new ones being made right now. There is no shortage of walkthroughs, unless each one out there is missing something you want, but you'll have to identify what that might be.

Oh dear it looks like nobody wants a walkthrough at all by all the feedback (sighs) . . . . .

Well isn't it way more fun to discover the game by yourself than just follow a walkthrough ?
And if you really can't figure out how to accomplish something within the game, you still have many options left, from the pretty good documentation available at (
http://thief-thecircle.com/guides/) to online videos including making a dedicated thread to ask your specific question on the forums.

I think it's a great idea as long as it contained a lot of humor too. Heck I'd definitely be on board to help with such a creation.
