My favorite char is Mordecai with the legendary Volcano sniper rifles. Hitting someone in a crowd from half the view distance away and making everyone in the vicinity start running around and screaming while on fire = awesomesauce.

You didn't used to be this lazy. "Oh, you strongly disagree, you must think your opinion is fact! who wants to see me piledrive this bottle of mountain dew"
Seriously, don't be such a fucking knob. So I don't like dubstep. You know what that means? It means that I FUCKING DON'T LIKE DUBSTEP. I'm not apdento, I don't try to force my opinion as fact.
Get over yourself.
damn. SubJeff was very calmly posting his opinion. Why are you jumping down his throat? It is completely ridiculous.

gunny, you're cool and all, but A) you're a week and a half late on this and B) his comment, while "calmly" stated, was sheer raving idiocy.

Stopped reading at FOV slider. Everything else is just gravy.

I love how all these are now complementary features when they used to be the norm. I wouldn't be surprised it they soon sold them as DLC. "Wanna play with your keyboard and mouse? Why not buy our 'Old Fart' DLC, only for $10".

They recognised the faults of the first game and they're humble by acknowledging them.
Actually please tell when FoV sliders and mouse smoothing options were ever standard? Back in the pre-2006 they'd been obtuse console commands or INI switches, all hidden away... no different than a lot of current gen games. Non-native, undocumented features aren't "standard" by any means.

More like, they were really lazy on the first game and delivered a shitty port, but then realized the game sold well and decided to pretend like they care to get more sales.
And how about these features?
-100% mouse usable menus/mouse wheel scrolling
-PC specific UI
-Remappable keybindings for keyboard/mouse (Seriously?)
-support for higher resolutions (lol)
-Integrated V-sync options
Even the worst console ports had at least one of these features. Also the FOV used to be at 90 back then so there was no need to tweak ini files or whatever.

Modern PC gaming sucks. I'm dealing with it. Are you dealing with it?
june gloom on 20/3/2012 at 06:09
Koki, whatever you're doing, I don't think it can be fairly called "dealing with it."
