I never played the first Borderlands, but decided to give this a try. Yep, doesn't seem like deep storytelling, but it's great co-op fun! I almost laughed myself off the couch when I heard Ride of the Valkyries the first time :joke:

I don't get Borderlands at all. The shooting is clunky as fuck and the game is boring as shit even if you're playing with entertaining friends in co-op, and the writing for things like Tina and Claptrap tries so hard and is so egregiously awful it makes me physically ill. What's so great about it, again?

It's great because it's the exact opposite of everything you just said. Also, it's Diablo without all the shitty stuff like the grimdark bullshit and the isometric camera.
