This game gets pretty awesome the further you get into it imho. Obviously the story is mindless, and 99% of the gameplay is loot-collecting and shooting, but the difficulty curve is awesome and I really wasn't expecting the overall redneck vibe - there have been a few points where an NPC said something and I chuckled a little, at least. If you took the difficulty scaling and applied it to Fallout 3 you'd have one hell of a game. Or you'd have Morrowind with guns, I guess.

Sounds good, but as I have no real gamer friends I'm not sure about this - everyone says the co-op experience is much better.

If you are playing split screen, can you take both local players onto live at the same time?

I could've sworn that I posted about this yesterday, but apparently not.
Anyway the PC DLC has limited activation DRM, when the main game doesn't? I would've automatically bought the DLC, but not now.
Also Australasia are being over-charged for it over Steam, it's $12.99 USD for us, but $9.99 for the US region.
BTW, here's a link to the (

The DVD version has an activation too. Which I wouldn't mind if it didn't have a fucking disk check.

You did, you just did it in the (

Now
that's how you promote a game. The ending was epic.
Hehe,that was awesome.
He wasn't kidding about the guns, I've found so much loot that it puts Diablo to shame. In some ways that's good because it keeps the currency flowing.

Here's what's up with Ninja Claptrap- Claptrap is the game's designated mascot and he does something goofy as a throwaway joke during the credits. Why the fuck this seems to confuse anyone, especially given the game's humorous bent, is beyond my ability to answer.
N'Al on 6/8/2010 at 08:45
Clearly, with this DLC, it's no longer going to be a 'throwaway joke'. Not particularly difficult to understand either.
