An overly commercial series of trite little games bearing the resemblance of something mass produced by the jejune fuckchild of Norman Rockwell and Hallmark. It neither speaks to me of the Human Condition, nor does it beckon to the inscrutable exhortations of these masses of axons and neurons in my head that the ignorant unwashed masses stupidly call a soul. PASS!
Wait. Winterbells. FUCK YEAH!

That was excellent!

That freaking Hunt level in the 4th world is dagnasty mean.
Yeah, that stumped me for a while. I actually stumbled onto the solution quite by accident, which is a bit sad, but never mind :)
Bouncing on a creature only kills them if they are going forwards in time. Like me, you probably noticed that before, but hadn't tried to apply it.So I got all the puzzle pieces, and I'm keen for more. Impulse sounds like the best (minimal DRM) option.

Devilish and many truly ingenious puzzles :thumb:
Can't imagine how do I get to the puzzle item behind two locked doors in the last stage of the 5th world. :weird::rolleyes::confused: Thinking about it for 2 hours already....

Is that the one where there's only one green/time-proof key and there are two pink locked doors? You'll need the help of your shadow for this one. Read on if you want the full spoiler: Grab the key and then leap off the ledge towards the right, and just before you hit the first door start rewinding back to the ledge. Your shadow will go and do what you just did, but his momentum will keep him going and he'll open the first door, leaving you to open the second.

Yep, that's it. It's clear that I need a help of my shadow, but I can't figure out how exactly do I get it to open the door(s). I don't want to read your bigger spoiler just yet, thanks for solution anyway ;)

Finished! The ending was one of the most uncomfortable moments I've ever experienced playing a game. In the midst of feeling icky, I'm really quite impressed.
All in all, highly recommended!

Man, if you felt that way about the end I'd recommend you check out some plot analysis and go through again. I remember feeling the same way at the end, and probably had a similar analysis as you, but there's a whole other allegorical layer going on in that game that I completely missed the first time through that's interesting to consider.

All the comments about the Braid ending (combined with some people calling the game pretentious :p) make me really curious about the game. Hey, that degree in Modern Literature must be good for something! :joke:

when some ppl here use the word "pretentious" it's usually an indication of excellence, the game trying to go for something different that either can't be digested in one sitting or is not compatible with their taste shaped by "but it has to be fun and don't take it serious" attitude against any shit thrown at them. consider me intrigued as well, but atm I got no money for another puzzle game and platformer. later maybe.
