I'm sure I was originally approaching that puzzle the same way, for the same reasons. I would have given up trying it far sooner, had I not previously encountered a puzzle where incredibly precise timing was needed (or at least, the method I used required such timing).
Eventually I took a step back to re-evaluate the situation, as I knew there were things in the level layout that looked useful, but which I wasn't making any use of. I actually stumbled onto the key to the solution while attempting something a bit different to what I actually needed to do (like Aja, I solved at least a couple of things more or less by accident), and it was pretty easy from there. So try out some completely new approaches and see what happens :)

I was pretty much on the fence myself on this one after the demo but following comments here I decided to go for the full version and glad I did so. Definitely worth the money and feels to me like a well written short story.
Two things (not including the ending) impressed me. They did a good job of introducing a simplified version of a solution and then testing your understanding of how the same mechanics could be applied to a more complex problem. I also enjoyed seeing the same level elements with slight changes between worlds which required a different approach to the same solution.
I'm with Aja though about the speedruns - I enjoy this sort of game to be tactical and belting through levels as quickly as possible doesn't really hold any appeal.

Old thread, but I just wanted to pop in to say that the storyline in this game is mindblowing.
