I am good. Oh yeah, and of course "...no half measures, Walter". That entire scene was gold.
And...

Pinkman in jail. I dunno, I'm picturing it...
Not jail, as in jail jail. I'm talking about one of those situations when you're in an orange jumpsuit picking up litter along the highway.
...that's jail.
I can't wait for Better Call Saul.

My favorite moment, by far, was the episode when Gus Fringe went to a barbecue party in someone's backyard.

In Japanese class my sensei asked us what a person can do to get rich (to practice the grammar for that expression).
I answered, well, they could always cook some crystal meth.
Got a good reaction out of the class, though the sensei was out of the loop.

An interesting
(http://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/was-the-breaking-bad-finale-all-just-a-fantasy-in-walter-whi?utm_campaign=socialflow&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=buzzfeed) theory re the last episode.
I can't be bothered with discussion son Twitter, so I'll just discuss here with you fine people.
To sum up (for those who don't want to trawl through the tweets) -
Walt dies in the seat of the car he supposedly steals. The remaining scenes are all his mind's plan for how things were going to happen. Reasons I like this theory:
- Badger & Skinny Pete appearing out of nowhere and behaving like caricatures of themselves
- Walter just strolling into Elliot and Gretchen's house
- The perfect placement of his car, all of the nazi gang being in the line of fire, the arc of fire being exactly the width of the clubhouse
- The fact that he's able to move about as he pleases
- It explains how surreal a lot of the scenes were e.g. why the police just show up at the end - can appreciate the idea that it's a reference to Walt having died in a car (from his illness) surrounded by police
- It fits with the episode playing out as though WW wrote itReasons I don't like this theory:
- If it's all Walt's fantasy, why bother explaining that Walt is using misdirection to spread the police thin so he can visit Skyler
- I still can't get round to believing that he correctly "guesses" that Jessie is a captive meth chef
- Jesse refuses to kill him, why would his fantasy do that? It's a nice one to mull over and I think I may watch the final episode again with it in mind, but I'm not wholly convinced.
(sorry for spoilers, was distracted by all of the thinking - hoping Al got to the edit before anyone saw)

No.
I saw this on my Google+ feed. Vince has talked about the alternate endings and this theory wasn't mentioned once.
Also, I hate it.
Also, apart from your reasons for not liking it there is loads of other stuff that wouldn't have happened if it had been a fantasy. His son would have forgiven him, he'd have banged Skyler, Jessie would have forgiven him and realised that Walt was like a dad to him etc etc etc.
This reminds me of 2 things.
1. The guy who argued the toss with us about The Sixth Sense - "It was stupid. Why did he commit suicide at the end?"
2. The guy who really liked the Matrix but "Once question though - why were they always running for phones?"
I suppose I should let people enjoy their little fantasies but stuff that makes no sense just grinds my gears. Like the people at work who said Avatar had rubbish 3D after they watched a pirated DVD on a non-3D tv with red/green 3D glasses thought I was an idiot when I tried to explain that it doesn't work that way. I don't mind them thinking I'm the idiot, it was their idiocy that got me.

Yeah, I'm not 100% in agreement with it. One thing VG said about the final episode as a clue was simply Woodworking. There is a lot which doesn't add up though. I think the reason it appeals is that there are several points in my "why I like the theory" section which make the last episode seem a bit off for me particularly Basger and SP just randomly appearing and acting like cartoons of themselves. If the whole thing is taken literally, it just feels goofy in a way.
SubJeff on 4/10/2013 at 14:45
With regards to woodworking, there is that Jessie fantasy, isn't there? Hmmm
As regards to Badger and Skinny Pete; "cartoons of themselves"? That's what they're always like.
I think we need this again.
And someone needs to do it for the whole series.

Yeah, but where did they come from?
How is one of the most wanted men just able to travel about, contact these people, walk in to Elliot and Gretchen's obviously high security house by just pushing the door etc...?
So much about the last episode was just very surreal now that I think about it. I'm not saying I buy it, but it's put me on the fence. I need some convincing to go either way.

Trying to not read the rest of this thread (yet), but I started watching BB about 2-3 weeks ago, and am completely blown away and addicted now. The show has so many "oh shit" and cringe worthy moments, I've been on the edge of my seat since about the middle of Season 2. I don't remember watching any show that had such a both likable and detestable main character, it really breaks the mold on blurring the lines of morality there.
The end of season 2 was crazy, with...
Walt skipping his daughter's birth for the big drug deal
then
Letting Jesse's girlfriend die (super harsh)
followed by
Skyler's busting Walt on just about everything
and finally
the mid-air collission.
I really had to take a small break after Season 2 ended, it was all pretty intense.
Season three has provided some great moments as well, but nothing to match season 2 yet, except for maybe the Hank/assassins shooting scene in the parking lot.
It would be great to see more stuff like this on TV, instead of the some of the sale old boring fare we usually get spoon fed. Anyway, I'm anticipating a marathon viewing session over the New Years holiday - seems like something big is coming at the end of season 3 but we'll see (4 episodes to go).

The Wire is the only thing that comes close IMHO.
Actually the Wire is better.
