**Finale spoiler alerts**
Finally finished it up. What a great show, what a wild ride. I actually liked how they
didn't do anything overly shocking for the finale, and just tied up a whole bunch of loose ends.
Agreed, and it's a lesson that SOME TV shows (*cough SoA) could benefit from.

Although they never used it on the show, lithium can be used to create meth. It may be a bit of a reach, but I still think it's clever.
This was the problem for me. I'd read that the name was elemental symbols and corresponded to stuff but I couldn't equate Lithium with meth. I thought there might be another explanation for it.

I think the reason they liked it is because lithium is part of the chemical manufacture of meth, and apparently (from the little I read) it's the part that gives the characteristic blue color to the famous blue meth. So there's a logic there, even understanding that almost no one in the audience will get it, it's still cool enough to go with. So I'm okay with it. It's more literally read maybe: "Blood, The chemical manufacture of blue meth, and tears."

Small piece of trivia: seems as though the The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) also thought this was pretty good, giving it the (
http://awards.bafta.org/award/2014/television/international) TV International award for 2014. I really should try again to watch it.
