An interesting mix of
calm keyhunt followed by
a bloodbath all set in a stunning looking castle. Good fun. It took me a lot longer to complete than it should because I spent the best part of 20 minutes looking for the final bit of loot I needed. Eventually I discovered that I had left a purse on some-one's belt. They had died in an awkward position and it was very hard to see their purse. Coupled with the fact that they were lying in a
huge pile of dead thieves killed by mines I simply missed their purse over and over and over again. :erg:
My tactic for
wiping out most of the thieves was to
make a lot of noise in the armoury then hide on a ledge and toss mines down into the doorway. Eventually most of the searching thieves came my way and died in the doorway.Anyway, thanks for a nice little FM. :thumb:
Thanks for playing "Broken Heart" it was my first fm with q3 textures and got satisfacted with the final result:) , never thought that my castle with be so beautifull as it is . as for the purses in the thieves belt you can go to game options and set the autobodysearch on.

Yes, it really turned out very, very pretty and the Q3 textures work very well in it. I guess my only gripe is that there are quite a few pretty areas that the player can only see from a distance. I'd love to see them a bit closer because it all looks very nice.
As for the auto search, I dunno, I don't really like using that but it would have saved me a lot of fruitless searching today. It's certainly not a problem with the FM itself though, just me. ;)

I agree with Nightwalker. I just don't like killing. If I wanted to fight, I'd play Quake or something other than Thief. Nice architecture and I had fun finding all the keys. After I got the sword, I just stopped. Thanks anyway for the effort. :)

Got fed up with this one I'm afraid. Bored with trying to kill Isildo.
Been whacking him for ages but he won't die. Just read that fire arrows damage him. Would've been nice to have had some clue to that effect in the game. I've used all my fire arrows and won't bother starting again. So it's the bin for this one.

The sarcasm isn't necessary, Cardia1. :nono: He stated his opinion in a polite fashion and there's nothing wrong with that.

Why does Isildo have a red block for a head?

because i used a crate with a helmet shape model in his head, at first i wanted to make the helmet invunerable to any fire weapon, but then i changed my mind and made the helmet vunerable to the fire arrows, so you could shoot on his helmet to explode in several pieces...and i just found that funny:)
