Alright...I destroyrd the madalion. And found a note saying something about a moonstone. How do I get out of here?

I need help getting started in this mission - it seems I'm missing something painfully obvious. I've been wandering around, have killed a few craymen, found a couple of things like the note about entering the palace, a list of the emperors, a star gem and a room with a sacred fire elemental in it, but I seem to be walking around in circles with no clue as to what I'm supposed to be doing. I've seen no sign of Aleph and I can't enter the palace because I can't translate the hieroglyphs. Is there an area that I've completely missed? Some pointers would be welcome.

Jah: check your map for locations of Keeper glyphs - that will help get you into the palace.

When I opened the map, I only saw the Notes page, so I assumed there was no map for this mission (seemed logical, since Garrett doesn't even know where the portal leads). I'll take another look when I get home. Thanks.

You won't have a map until you discover the first glyph: Go to the market area where you found the note about entering the palace and get on the roof of the building.

Don't feel bad, I missed it more than once. I kept mantling up there and finaly noticed it when I almost fell in..lol I was turning around after coming back one time and I felt so stupid after realizing I could have just used the ladder. Doh!

Before I noticed the ladder, I tried mantling to the roof, too, but couldn't do it - it seemed too high. Oh well... :)

Could it be that the ladder is too hard to spot at the moment? I can make it more visible for the next version.
