Eshaktaar, the first thing that crossed my mind when I finished this mission was that when Thief: DS was released, if this had been the content, along with some contributions from the other great FM authors, I would have been far more satisfied.
I know it's rather selfish of me, but if it was up to me, I would gather the best (and there are many,) FM authors, release the source code, and adequately fund them!
By the way, did it ever occur to you to attempt a System Shock 2 mission?
Thanks for yet another 10 hours of well-spent time!

Could it be that the ladder is too hard to spot at the moment? I can make it more visible for the next version.
For me, the problem was that when you first enter the building, the ladder is to the right, leaning against the wall, and you're looking at it from a 90-degree angle, making it easier to miss. When you approach from the other direction, you can see it clearly, but when I first went there, I didn't come back the same way - I was jumping to the roofs of the other buildings and came down from there. It was only after my failed attempts to mantle up to the glyph that I entered through the other door and found the ladder practically staring at me. :)

Hi This second mission is outstanding like the first. Beautifully done
I am stuck though.
I am in an area like a market place, found the glyph. Got on a canopy and then a ledge. I see a metal door across the way, same area I found rope arrows. There is a dead garden by it.
I tried jumping over to it no luck, over and over. Is that the way to it?

Magnificent missions.........LOVE all the details :thumb:
I made it through mission 1 without TOO much difficulty.......just
read and remember.
But......I'm having a hard time in mission 2 .
playing 4 hours !! ....been in the Temple , and the Palace,
and down the Last Path , and found 3 obelisks (with clues )
BUT have not seen Aleph , can not find the 4th glyph ( where
is the Lunar Court ? ) or the 4th obelisk , and now I'm running in circles .
Finally, I read this thread, but noone seems to have my problems!
Thank you for any help:) :)
Never mind !!!! Found Lunar Court ( I have to learn to read signs !!! ) and Aleph ,finally . I
can't believe I spent an hour looking for the final glyph !!!!! I'm still in awe of the
" scenery " . What a wonderful imagination !

Do a running jump straight on to the garden, then drop down on the thing holding up the banners closest to the metal door. You'll need a key, though...

Just finished !
Well Done Eshaktaar :thumb:
Really enjoyed that one. Great mix of puzzles and danger.
IMHO one of the best FMs EVER:cool:
Some nice touches: the shaking sarcophagi gave me a scare.
Only slight criticism, I kept losing sound in the second mission. Ambients were there, but footsteps, lockpicking etc kept disappearing.
Look forward to the next one !

That sound problem was encountered some during testing (including Esh himself) but we never got to the bottom of it. You might try turning off EAX if you have it and see if it helps.
