It's the island's equivalent of what we use to designate years (i.e. B.C. & A.D.). C.R. stands for Caerul Reckoning (Caerul being the original name of the island).
Arrowgrab: That sounds strange. I'll look into it.

The obelisk that moved in the Palace Foyer leads down a very short distance which takes you I presume, to the Treasury. But it quickly becomes a dead end. The walkthrough references scarab bugs, but I didn't see anything like that. Is this a bug? (no pun intended)

Tip1:
Read the scroll entitled "Odd Occurence."
Tip2:
Then Try to put yourself in the Emperor's shoes (doing what he did in the scroll, not getting skewered, lol).Spoiler:
Go to the Bathhouse. Go behind the waterfall and stare upward. You do not have to enter the stream itself. If you see to big crazy-ass looking bug things, you did it right.----
I need help with the
Last Path. I know
I'm supposed to make the Jackals "communicate" each other by having the Jackal at the start of the Path hit the Jackal at the end of the Path with a fireball. I understand that to do this, I must open both bronze slabs with the overlapping sun and moon/two overlapping circles.
However, I've only succeeded in opening the door near the Jackal at the start. I can't find any way to reach the second slab. A small tunnel was revealed when I moved the first slab, but I can't reach the second one through it. I can't scale the walls either; my rope arrows will not adhere to any surface. The Staff of Far Reach does not help either. I was able to use the Staff to strike a switch from a window in the upper floor, but all that did was open a compartment with a chest.

In the hallway, I believe its the room off the east, the jackal with the pool. Crouch and jump in that pool of water, LOOK UP, you can go from there.

Thanks Metal Dawn, I read the appropiate document but didn't follow through. I don't think I would ever have figured that one out on my own.
Hope Broken Arts solved your problem.

Thank you BrokenArts.
I jumped in there at least 20 different times and for some reason it never occurred to me to look up even though I looked up just about everywhere else! Rrrgh!!

Don't worry, you weren't alone! I had to search for a clue on this one as well.

Tip 1:
Walk from the beginning of the tunnel the end and listen to your footsteps. Notice anything odd?Tip 2:
What's happening is that your footsteps are restarting.Spoiler 1:
You are being teleported without knowing it. This is called Seamless Teleportation.Spoiler 2:
When you here your footsteps restart, stop immediately. Look around slowly and look for any differences. Try walking slowly and peeking around corners to avoid being teleported prematurely.Edit: Just read about the
scarabs. The above method was how I solved it.

I need help again. I placed the
Moonstone on the plinth at the Celestial Gate, but the Gate didn't activate.
Edit: Forget it. I kept mistaking the
appropriate lever as being another control for the elevator.

Basically for the scarab beetles, you climb down the ladder, walk a bit, you see the first beetle. Turn the corner, walk a bit more, you see the 2nd beetle. Slowly walk backwards, watch him disappear after a few seconds, turn the corner, walking past where the beetle was, you should see the entrance.
