Those plaques use a script from the unique version of NVScript that comes with the mission. Maybe you've somehow ended up with an older version of NVScript, such as the last official release version?
The mission does come with the script module, though, so I don't quite see how that could happen.
Odd. I downloaded the FM less than a week ago from Southquarter. I'll just have to play without reading everything (I can read the scrolls) and hope I get through. Can someone tell me what the
two readable stonetablets said in the archives? I have the staff of far reach so I probably don't need the emperor names (I think that's what I read one of them contained). Thanks much!

Another thing that's not working for me: I'm standing under the waterfall, looking up and don't see any scarabs. Will this be a big issue later?
More issues to deal with:
1. no zombies attacked in the catacombs and I was able to climb out the same way I came in
2. I'm trying to avoid the traps entering the necropolis, but when I jump on the dropping floor, the only thing that happens is the wall blocking my way. Now I can't get out. A hint, anyone?

Duh, that would help. I don't think I have that one yet.
Thanks!

Verak, are you playing on Windows Vista? I'm afraid you have to restart the mission, as you'll sooner or later run into a dead-end if the scripts don't work right. I encountered the same problem on Vista some time ago, but a restart (i.e. by loading the last savegame of the first mission and jumping into the portal) made all these issues vanish.

Great, thanks. Yes, I'm on Vista and had a feeling this may be the issue. I'll replay. It's an awesome mission so I don't mind it a bit.

Finally finished! Fantastic mission eshaktaar, but grrr, you've gone and raised the bar once again and made it even more difficult for us fm authors! :cheeky:

Oh goody gumdrops, that was fun. Many posters have already offered the deserved praise for the technical achievements, but I liked some story / design elements and want to mention them.
1) the Sanctuary glyph and alternate dimension were imaginative and extremely well-executed. What a cool idea. I always like it when Garrett has a friend or a safe place within the story. (I'm reminded of the scarab secrets from Yandros' "Dance with the Dead.") Of course, the Sanctuary wasn't so safe at the end. I contrived to get chased around by the demon, and I laughed at the way he said, "Garrett, come here!" It was like being chased by my mom.
2) big points for what might be the first fan mission to envision not just Precursor architecture, but the Precursor culture as well. I had the feeling reading about the Dark Watch in the museum in Arkford that I might get to meet them, and I wasn't disappointed. Very engrossing and imaginative. I like the Lost City mission style quite a bit; not enough of these in the fan mission world.
3) having played Ominous Bequest, I started the Arkford mission figuring that things were not going to be as they seemed. Still, some of the story elements were cleverly disguised, such as the purpose of the museum job being to put a moonstone beneath the energy shield. Also, about the plot of the Arkford mission - anyone ever see the movie Angel Heart?
4) Keeper Aleph is a badass. He ghosted farther than I did!
