Good lord, Eshaktaar. That was the best FM I have ever played!
Now for round 2!

Finished second part after about six hours and can only add WOW!!! Totally exhausting, devious, beautiful.
I missed quite a bit, so will need to go back and replay both parts, but have a few questions about the second part;
1. Above the market, I jumped onto a roof, reached through a window and got a key, I could see loot. On going back around to the central courtyard, I can see a ledge with a couple of plants and a door. How do you get up there?
2. In the Necropolis, up the spiral staircase, if I look out a window on the right I can see across to a button recessed in the wall underneath ceiling supports. I don't know whether I hit it with a broadhead or not. What does it open?
3. From the hippostyle, just inside the passageway that leads back to the pool, if I look up to the right, there is a purple beetle sitting on a high ledge. How to get there?
On edit: This is more a comment/warning than a question:
I broke into the moonstone room early with two fire arrows, and used the stone to activate the portal fairly early on, not at end of mission. When time came to find a way home, I couldn't use the portal so had to resort to a saved game.

Again, incredible mission. I didn't think you could possibly top the Arkford one, but the second one is jaw-dropping. So otherworldly. I was hiking once in Zion national park in the US, at night down this narrow cliff-walled canyon with a river at the bottom. A storm came in and the canyon flooded, washing me back the way I had come. As I swam/was swept along in the dark with these black, hulking walls on either side, lighting would arc across the sky and I'd see it in the narrow band of rushing clouds visible at the top on the canyon. That was one of the few times when I've really felt like I was in another world. I got a similar feeling in parts of the second mission. This is truly a work of art.
Anyway, I'm stuck again. I can't get into the final chamber in the Necropolis. I've opened the first panel the fireball from Anubis goes through, but I can't get up to the one on the other end, nearest the door to the final room. I found a hallway with openings on opposite sides, up above the roof beams. I think I'm supposed to come out one and go in the other to get to the upper area where I can reach the panel. But I can't find a way to get up there. Where do I start? Also, any hints about the treasury would be appreciated. I've found 4 readable pillars, but I don't know where to enter the combination.

Can someone spoil me as to how to enter the treasury?
You need to first pickup the translation document in the sactuary, which is entered via one of several glyphs around the city. Then make sure you read every readable you find, on one there is refering to getting some loot/treasure mentioning what the code is on the lock to the palace and then on another there is reference to the info linked to said code..

Hint, please?

Treasury: Stand under the waterfall if you haven't already, then use what you can now see as a guide.
And that whole thing wasn't there in the original beta I played, but I still managed to work it out. :D

I wrote I'm speechless when playing part 1. No, I was wrong... I'm speechless now when playing part 2.
These open coffins with mummies play my nerves ... :wot:

No, seriously, anybody with a hint - on how the scarabs help you find the Treasury?
Thanx :D
