I'm trying to play BiA: Road to Hill 30 at the moment, but the on-screen subtitles and the crosshair are simply massive. Obviously a hang-over from being developed for consoles.
Does anyone know of any INI tweaks to reduce the subtitle font and crosshair sizes?
Like there are for other UE2.0-based games like Thief: DS and DX:IW.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Goddammit, the "positional view" doesn't support mouse input!

It's meant to be played with iron-sight, it's a much more fun game that way.

Just turn the crosshair off, or change it to one you like in the options...

I honestly didn't even know the game had a crosshair or subtitles.

The crosshair is massive, I agree, but I don't mind the large size of the subtitles. Besides, in 1024x768, HL2's subs are just as big.

Does the crosshair blush when it touches enemies?

It doesn't, thankfully.
I've since started playing the game without subs. Thankfully unlike other WW2 games, there doesn't seem to be blaring explosions and gunfire that drown out the dialogue.
God, grenade throwing in this game sucks. They're simply flung Master Chief style, you can't cook them.
There's too many invisible walls. Also you virtually can't jump over anything, making the jump ability seems pretty useless thus far.
At least the M1 rifle can be reloaded on the fly and there's iron sight aiming.

No, but its schoolgirl giggle is just too much.

The AI in this game is pretty dumb. Germans never actually move away much unless they're scripted to (an example would be when they're trying to run across a road) and when a grenade lands near them they're like "uh?"
I hear it's vastly improved in Earned in Blood.
That said I'm having a blast with this game, though I must admit I am playing on easy.

I liked EiB much better.
