Does anyone have some sound clips of the Builder's child chants from within the game, or know how I can extract them? Thanks in advance!

Assuming you have WinZip, WinRar, ZipCentral, or the like:
The Mechanist "Maintenance-Bot" speeches--and all the other sounds--are compressed in a *.CRF file, which is really a *.ZIP file with the extension changed. You can change the extension back to ".ZIP" and extract the *.wav files, or right-click and "Open with..." your extractor program, which is the best way.
You will also gain access to all the maps, texts, textures, and skins in the other *.CRF's.

Fairly obvious, but I might add that the robot speech samples are in /robot/english/ inside the .crf.
Despite the fact that all other speech sets have their own folder, all the robot sample sets have been put into that one /robot/ folder.
If you're looking for the Masked Servant voices, those are in /slave/english/
