Bunch of old games... - by Henri The Hammer

You can never know what you might find in stores. Today I found a few gems.

Total price = 60 €. Everything is in pretty good condition, all of the miscellanous stuff still in the boxes. You can't see it from the picture, but X-Com Interceptor, Giants Citizen Kabuto and Heretic II are all in mint condition, still factory sealed. :) Sure, you could probably download all of this since it's considered "abandonware", but it's still great having a box. Well, at least in my opinion.

Nice score. I haven't seen some of those boxes in ~20 years.

Wow, I always wanted my own copy of WC: Prophecy, Sam and Max Hit the Road, and Day of the Tentacle.

Am I nucking futs or was a nearly identical thread posted just a short time ago?
In any event Giants and Sacrifice still look and play quite well, and the Omikron/Nomad Soul Bowie soundtrack is ace.

Yeah, I just found (

too strong, now I know why.

If I didn't already have most of those I'd be jealous. Good find!

I'd heard of Citizen Kabuto, is it any good?

Giants is absolutely fantastic. One of my favourite games ever. And GOG.com has it DRM-free for US$6 (although obviously the box is awesome, and well worth having -- great score, Henri! Especially the original Sam&Max and DOTT boxes... very nice indeed.)
So, yes, go and buy Giants now! (Unless you're not in the GOG beta, in which case you'll have to wait a little bit longer.)

Not to mention it (Giants) still looks gorgeous.
Just remember to delete that pesky arpfix.gzp file.
