Doh!
That must've been hard! Geeez how'd you kill all those toughboys? My hat is off to you if you completed this whole mission without a blackjack!

Spoiler:
Look in the apartment house by the police station... on the first floor in that apartment. Oh, as I get in the door opens and a guard came in and I ran the steps down. Later I came back but there is a chair in bad position (jumping over is impossible!) so I forgot something in this room...
Every guard needed 3 overhead hits to kill him so I do it to end.
The servent in the streets got a "house key" but I never used this key! For what house is the key?

I'm not sure what room with the chair you mean...
LEGION on 19/11/2001 at 12:52
The Chair-romm is that room where you came in at first with help of the rope-arrow! (the police station, down the street is a guard patroling and two guards standing in front of the gate to town sqare) Left goes the steps down and right is the door that opens and a guard came in. In front there is a table with some chairs and one chair near the door is impossible to overjump it, for me in this moment, so I jumped up and down and the guard is hitting me...
Is the blackjack in that house where I found the ropearrows in the box? A servant were inside and run out! And downstairs is a locked door. Hmm, I think this is the first house were you can get in.
Oh, the servant ran to the guards and I ran back to the canal and wait a little time. Then I gone back to the house, open the door and...oh no! A guard is waiting for me! Hu, fast back to the canal but later I killed him and forgot the house...

AAAARRRRRGGGGG!! I missed that and have been running around trying to find something to do.
I did get to the area next to the servent's house that can be seen through the circular stone openings.

Where is the sword??? I'm going crazy... All these guards, a blackjack and a handful of broadheads... I can't make any headway!

Extraordinary mission, my friend!
I personally figured you must be able to get into the courtyard or it wouldn't be there...
I started trying by stacking crates up to the wall of the prison which should've led to the courtyard. No dice. Then I tried to stack near the windows themselves. No dice. I finally ended up shooting a RA into lockpick Dave's house (which I was convinced wouldn't work because it looked like metal texture but wasn't) and scaling the roof. As was stated earlier, you can't get out. I would suggest next time you make a little area to take into account the tenacity of the taffers. In other words just figure we're going to get in somehow. Therefore you might as well put some incentive in there for us like you did for finding the secret ofthe graveyard. My biggest disappointment having got into the yard and knocking out the Hammerite was that there was no loot. Plus if there were some crates or a ladder or some way to get out.
As for the blackjack thing; I had no trouble finding it. In fact, I didn't need even one hint to finish this mission. The thing I overlooked was the sword I didn't get it until about an hour into the mission so until I found the blackjack I was ghosting the whole time and the guy who said the prison was easy must not have been playing on expert like me! Timing getting up to the third floor was tough as was getting back down. I never thought to use the office key on the BOX in the office! No biggie though cause the only thing I ever use a sword for is cutting down banners and killing haunts. Then again the banner was rather important on that floor I learned much later in the game. I never knew I needed that key though because I threw the skull from my cell at the lookout guy and he opened it for me!
P.S. sorry for the awful punctuation, my niece knocked my keyboard and now I'm in overtype mode (which I hate because I usually go back and put my punctuation in when I'm proofing what I've wriiten) and I've forgotten how to switch it back to non-overtype. She's two and she loves to play "Hide and Seek" with me (what she calls "Thief") she goes "knock that bad guy over, Uncle Doug!" lol

I know... I know... Your right!
I just never dreamed you guys could find your way in there! But I've learned a valuable lesson... NEVER underestimate the tenacity (sp?) of a Taffer! From now on I'll make sure there's something in all places no matter... and .... a way out! LOL
Btw... one of my absolute favorite things to do in thief is the exact oposite that the designer had in mind... and see what happens.
I see I'm not alone
