It seems that it's modern in Thief world to name all pubs or inns Burrick pubs and Burrick inns.Or Crippled Burrick inns, pubs or whatever it is.
Am I right? It is very annoying, I think that FM authors could choose a better name for such place.

My brother was working on an FM a long time ago, and had a pub in it called (for humorous in-game reasons):
The Blazing Buttock :cheeky:

I like the name of the pup in CL. I think it is the 'Black Die'

I don't find it annoying, I consider it more like a mark, a special thing from the thief community. Well at least, I tried to continue it, calling my inn the "Hammered burrick" :cheeky:

I totally agree with DrK. It's definitely a mark. Just like in every one of the six Star Wars movies when somebody says, 'I got a bad feeling about this'.
tot; I was hoping that kind of mark would continue in the Blade movies where he says, 'WTF' with that certain look on his face. Didn't happen.

Well I bet in medieval times there were lots of pubs who's name had something to do with pigs or boars, so it's the same kind of thing really.
