Yeah, I've always felt sorry for the burricks too. They are so pathetic. Although they can be downright nasty when they gang up on you. . .(*coughslostcitycoughs*) But yeah, they are pathetic when you harm them. lol I started out killing them and now only blackjack them. Still feel mean but its a decent compromise. They're out of my way and they'll wake up. . .
I'm not sure I care for these ones in the dark mod. They lack some definition along the back. . .and sort of remind me of fish that sprouted legs. The feet are really well done though. But fishy or not, its nice to see some more definition to them. :D

They kind of remind me of a tadpole! :p

I always tried to leave them alone, along with most of the creatures - all of which I found more irritating than anything else. But, yeah, Burricks herds are a nightmare - which would usually force me to resort to a gas arrow, gas mine, or other proximity weapon.
Still, though, I always found their noises a little to akin to that of a dog's cries - which really bothers me
(sorry, I'm dog friendly  )

Oh, yeah, I can see the tadpole too. . .though what comes to mind for me first is a pike. lol Though I suppose they don't have that jutting jaw.

They're sounds actually appear to have several animals in there. I have heard them sound like dogs, I have heard some very definite horse noises, pig noises, and it seems to me something else, but I don't recall what. They are very strange.

I've never killed burricks after I realised that they can just knoked out by blackjack
sparkle_motion on 29/5/2007 at 10:34
I always felt that they were the most unconvicing creature that you're able to blackjack... I mean, look at the size of them!
Vogelfrei on 29/5/2007 at 21:47
At least they are easier to hit than these damned baby-burrick-frogbeast-thingies.
sparkle_motion on 29/5/2007 at 22:57
I actually find it somewhat hard to judge how close you need to be. I tend to bash into them. :)

so we didnt need to kill them...maybe we could distract them with the glowing mushrooms they eat......and use them, as a kind of noise arrow replacement..... mmm..shrooms
Oceanstorm on 5/6/2007 at 09:37
I'm supprised they don't kill each other with their emmisions. You know, humans are to them what baked beans are to humans.
