Well, I DID shoot the rope arrow up there. That's the only way I have been able to get right into the window frame. I can see the bridge and the other side but cannot go forward. By the way, really enjoy this mission!!!!! :thumb:

O.K., never mind. Tried leaning sideways, crouching, backing up, etc. and finally got "unstuck". :)

I didn't try very hard to ghost it. I found a couple of sticky places, like Dafydd said, so I gave up and BJ'ed my way through it.

However, I am slightly stuck on one detail, playing on expert. I'm way short of loot objective, but I have done all others except the diary.[SPOILER]A note said something about trying to blow open a door in the excavation area. I am guessing that this is the door in the library where the book of death is located. So I have toted two powder barrels down there and placed them by the door. But I cannot ignite the powder kegs. The fire spell does not ignite the powder, strangely enough, and I haven't found any fire arrows.[/SPOILER]

Is this a blind alley, or is there a way to do this? I must have missed a major loot area if this is not the way.

Book of death:

There's another area in the excavation site, to the left side of the Hammerite with the book, where you'll see a rock wall. You can hit it with your blackjack to damage it--but not all the way, or BOOM. To live, stand back near the opening, then use the fireball spell like a key and aim it when it's extended.

Diary:

This one gave me trouble, too--I lost the key by dropping it accidentally! Check the corners of the Master Suite. The one right of the fireplace contains a switch in plain sight. The orange key on the sleeping woman's hip opens the chest--which contains Cantwell's diary.

Voila. :)

I was able to complete Expert with all the loot. Altho I looked there and didn't see it, I got the [SPOILER]Ring at the bottom of the pool after peeking here on the thread, and then the coin on the carpet in the sitting area[/SPOILER] , both loot items that were mentioned here.

And here's a bug?? As I was leaving through the sewers the last time, when I got to the water, it was really freaking out with multi-colored lined sections in all directions right there on the surface, altogether appearing and disappearing in unison. Maybe I just needed to re-boot or something! :)

And here I thought would be a great place to hide some loot in a future update? :laff: : [SPOILER]Up in the bell tower of the cathedral! I roped up there and managed to stay up there, even move around to the side, without falling to my death...even needed a couple of boxes to stack up in order to reach my rope arrow I shot up there... :) [/SPOILER]

@ sluggs: [SPOILER]I managed to throw the scouting orb over the wall to see the guy we released from jail -- just had to get to a point higher up to throw it! :cool: One of them thar arrows should help you in that pursuit... [/SPOILER]

I'll try, but I bet it won't happen again; it was probably my machine anyhow...

Also, I managed to run across the slippery red-tile roof of the chapel, and make it over to and land on the tall green brush wall by the shed and explosives kegs...was also able to get up there from the roof of the shed itself. Another good place for some loot! :sly:

On the opposite side of that wall where the jail escapee ends up, was surprised that I didn't see (with the orb) any of those dancing zombies! :wot: :cheeky: :joke: :laff: :thumb:
