Your welcome to tart-up the ones we have in the darkmod.

Incredible work.
What's the best technique for making metal textures? I've never been able to quite create the illusion of a real metal surface.
Is it all about having a good overlay texture, or do you actually create the metal from scratch using noise and plasma filters and bump mapping, etc.? On some of those dark rusty metal textures on the first page, I think I can see what could be subtle plasma and noise filtering.
For instance, here's an example of something I've tried to remake, which I've never quite felt looked good enough, though I do like the overall dirtiness of it compared to the cleaner metal textures. But it still lacks that real metal feel to it:

ok
Here is the "rest" (15) of the high priority rugs (vrescor1). But it's not a good match , so use them only as a temporary solution.
Sorry, but I don't really like these rugs; they look too different from the originals (though perhaps no one would actually notice a few them if they weren't directly comparing them to the originals.)
Generally, the shapes and types of shapes on each carpet is too different. Things such as for example rug01, which was originally covered in geometric shapes, but the new one is covered in flowers. Rug 14 is the opposite, changing from flowers to shapes.
A lot of them also have significantly different colours, for example compare the colour tones of rug19, which is a sort of even brightness across its surface in the original, but is a dark square with a light border in the new version.
I especially don't like rug22rn, because it changes a fairly nondescript rug into one with a new and extremely prominent pattern - that's one that I would very quickly see as "wrong" if I saw it in-game, even without comparing it directly to the original. Rug29rn has similar problems.
Rug28rn is probably the best of these extra rugs... but we already have an even closer version of that texture (since Purgator found the original rug.)

Those wooden panels are really good!

They are good, so I hate to criticize at all, but ... the carvings look press formed and not carved. Press forming wood leaves it looking blurry and soft. Carved wood is sharper and crisper. I doubt it would show up in-game. I just had to mention.
