There are like six pages worth of help for this mission, and yet I still cannot finish it!
Everyone kept talking about what to do AFTER you attached the statue head to the rest of the statue - but I could never find the statue head to begin with!!!
Help please!
where this mission ?

No, it was one of the entries into Komag's (
http://www.keepofmetalandgold.com/contest5.htm) Contest 5 I recall it being very complex and difficult to figure out what you needed to do in a lot of spots. I don't recall it all that well and my notes only cover Easy and Hard, not Expert for some reason and they don't mention a statue head but I also recall it being quite different on each difficult setting.

I found the head. It's in a dead end in the underwater tunnels. It's so dark down there it's hard to spot and I'm not sure but I THINK you have to frob the Gargoyle head in the tunnel (above the grate) to get the head to drop down into the water. That's not something I can say for sure, though. As far as I can tell, you leave the spot where you see the headless statue and stay to the left. When you get to the spot where the underwater tunnel seems to split in two, take a hard left and follow it to the end. The statue head should be sitting on the bottom in the round room at the end.

Contest 5 had alot of good missions. I personally liked "The Relic"

Thanks, Nightwalker - I'll try it tonight . . .
I liked the way that each difficulty setting on this mission offered differences in the AI you encountered and the rooms you could or could not access.

Found it!! It was in a corridor I kept swimming past . . . in fact, I almost gave up again when I finally turned down it . . . thanks for the help, NW
Now . . . how do you go back and kill Grothus?

Have you stashed the Orion Stone
in the Library
? If I am remembering correctly, then all will be revealed. ;)
I apologize for the darkness of the mission. For some reason, it seemed a lot brighter on my computer, and I overcompensated in Dromed. Would anyone be interested if I redid this mission? I rushed it too much, and it didn't come out quite the way I wanted it, so if anyone's interested, I could (hopefully) make it a little more playable.
