You should wait until they've forgotten about you; this takes at least a couple of minutes, during which you have to be hidden from them.
I don't see how you could fault the designers of the mission for this; it's part of Thief itself. I agree, Jason. It works exactly the same way for me. Great work, Team Calendra! :thumb:
BTW, what does Lotus Nectar do?

Has anyone reached that last pickpocket in this mission? It's located
on an archer in alley between flat 2A and the room with the toilet & lucky coins. You can see it from the ledge between the windows. However, since this mission neither gives you a rope arrow/vine arrow nor a slowfall-potion, I'm unable to obtain that quiver of broadheads.
Anyone?
Second question: why does one of the eyes from the skull in Arkhyn's tomb pop up seperate from the loot-count in the inventory? In gives you an additional total-score of 200 which is included in the end stats. Is this eye usable maybe? Perhaps an easter-egg I've missed.

I have a question about the grave in act1
In the Valuable old tome, the author has wrote a couple of page after the floating crown part, but all I can find is the lich corpse (and the treasures). In the page right after the floating crown, there is a line that says "The bones have shown more" What does that means?

I think the passage refers to a pile of bones in the hallway on the way to the lich corpse and not the grave. Check it out. Although there is a connection.
Hello!
I've gone back to play this lovely mission and noticed something in Arkhym's tomb that I haven't seen mentioned in this thread:
In the last room with the loot and the skeleton, there is a small boulder in the corner that is frobbable. Also, above the skeleton, ther is an indentation in the ceiling with what looks like the bottom of a ladder. Frobbing the boulder doesn't *appear* to do anything. So my question for y'all is: does it do anything?
I upgraded my system since the last time, and whoo! is it worth it! :D
Cheers!

If you
destroy the skull with holy water, you can frob the boulder to open the hole in the ceiling above the central altar. A bunch of rocks fall down. If you stand on top of one, on top of the altar, you can reach a ladder up there and get out that way.

But what of the small, frobbable boulder in the corner?
Cheers!

Sorry, Melissa. I wasn't reading what I was typing. You need to
frob the little BOULDER, not the skull.
Regarding the last room in the tomb:
If I frob the boulder my game crashes! If I even move to certain locations in the back right corner the game crashes. If I approach the alter Garret "dies" but the game just freezes with a view of the floor. There is also a frobbable bone on the alter, does this do anything (game crashes)? Lastly, I was forced to return to the entrance to leave and I had to spend another fire arrow to get it to open. I had tried to block it with the boulder but this failed, is there a mechanism I missed somewhere? I did use a corpse to weigh down the pressure plate in the tomb following the crown room, no affect. Thx.
I can't explain the crashes but there is another way to open that boulder
There's a pressure plate in the hallway that leads down to the room where you push the coloured gems to activate the portal. It's not the one at the very edge of the room but closer to the far end of the hallway.
The bone
just alerts the skull so it seems that your crash is in some way connected to that. The boulder will open a hole in the ceiling, if the skull has been destroyed. If not, then the skull will alert.
Is your T2 game patched? It needs to be, particularly for Mission #2 or you'll run into problems. Maybe someone else will have some suggestions for you about what could be causing the crashes in this area.
