There's also a secret entrance into the graveyard.
A door that was locked to you before you may now discover there is a key for.
I'm at that church and need to get that key to the balcony door. When I was at the door I ran around trying to find a guard with that key. I did but it was impossible to grab it as two other guards walked around him. Whenever I'm at the balcony door (quick saved) and I go back to find that guy at the same place there's always different guards walking there. Now I can't find that guy with the key at all. :(
Anyone help me please?
What shall I do?
Goldie81 on 11/8/2002 at 12:20
Never mind that first post. I managed to find the guard after trying forever!
But now I'm faced with another problem:
On the map Cardinal Leander is marked to be outside the church, right? Outside there are only priests. And so inside, I've been running around. Is there a secret door or something somewhere where the cardinal is?
I just can't find him..

No, he's not outside. Go inside the church and into the real church area. There is one red curtained doorway on one side and two on the left (facing the church from the altar). You want the one on the side with 2 curtains that is nearest to the altar. :) (Hint: frob EVERYTHING in the room before you drop the Cylix.)
Just in case you play the mission again, there is another way into the church besides the balcony, if you have trouble getting the key. Walk around to the balcony and then keep going towards the front of the church. Almost all the way around to the front, there's a high window that opens. You can tell from the ground because it looks different than any of the others. You can rope arrow up and go in through there.

Thanks for you help, I will be looking for him!
Serious? It WAS possible to get inside that window???
I've tried rope arrows but they would never be stuck in the wall. Where would I have to shoot it?
Nightwalker on 11/8/2002 at 13:16
I'd have to go and look, but there's wood up there. Maybe the top of the window frame?? I don't want to take the time to load it up right now and since you've already gotten in, it's not important. I've done it though, so I know you can. :)

I found the room and dropped the celix, but I cant get out. As soon as I have dropped it the bells toll, I run out of the room and a priest runs into me and bangs me down. How the he** can I escape out?
Nightwalker on 11/8/2002 at 15:09
That's why I gave you the clue about checking the room for things you can frob BEFORE you drop the Cylix.
Look on the windowsill for a plain cup that you can frob. It opens a secret exit. Just crouch in there and wait for things to settle down, then you can drop straight down into the courtyard and find your way out. :)
Hehe just a little misunderstanding. When you gave me the hint of frobbing the room I thought you ment frobbing the church itself (as I didn't have time to offcourse). I managed to hit the lever and get out only millimeters from being hit by a priest.
Once outside I was surrounded (I felt like the butter in the porridge) and barely managed to get myself into the river, with two life shields left, hehe..
Thanks for you help Nightwalker :)
Just outta curiosity:
Have you played most of the FM's that's made?
Nightwalker on 11/8/2002 at 17:57
I've played quite a few but not all of them. There are a few I haven't gotten to and few that I either didn't like or wouldn't run on my computer. There is a thread where some of us have been keeping track of the FMs we've played as well as putting small comments about the missions, sometimes. Maybe you'd like to add your list? It doesn't have to be big or completed on any particular difficulty setting, just a nice way to keep track of what you've played and share a bit with others. The thread is (

(Just in case you're curious, my list is on Page 11 of that thread. :))
