Good stuff, Anarchic Fox! I've updated my write-up with the two pairs of lucky coins and the ring.
I'll also see if Purah or Thumper or whoever wants to move the two masks out where they can be grabbed.
Thanks.

I have a question for anyone who feels up to it... are the priests in black (under the command of Alcandor) Hammerites, or not?

Just started playing through Calendra's legacy - in Act 2, and I've gotten the museum invitation.
Whenever I go up to the guard with it, he either starts his speech, turns for a moment and turns hostile, or just out and out turns hostile.
No weapons visible, and AFTER dropping the Cylix.
Any advice?

If the guard has seen you before, he'll still be alerted and will treat you as an enemy.
If you don't feel like going back to a previous save, you'll have to wait until he's calmed down completely. But that can take a very long time.
(Or just grab your stuff from the apartment and deal with him later... If he's still around then.)

Hi.
I'm playing the second mission, Midnight in Murkbell and after having unleashed the undead it appears I'm no longer able to frob the doors for the gem dealer or the psychic's shop. I neglected these locations assuming I could come back to them later.
Now it appears by some arbitrary design decision, or glitch, I can no longer enter them. What's up with this? Very annoying and silly IMO. Doesn't exactly put me in the mood to restart the whole mission.
Any ideas?

That's not a glitch. I don't know why Purah decided to make it that way, but the only thing you miss is loot and a few other goodies if you don't get there before you go to your rented room. The item in the gem dealers moves to another location at this point, where it is still accessible. :)

Another idle question: In Midnight in Murkbell, is there any way to get into that house in which the weird piano music is playing? It has flower boxes underneath the windows and is near the clock and the Dark Rose market. I’ve spent several hours looking for a way in. I have this mental picture of a band of undead musicians jamming away in there, and I’d love to see that.

I'm looking for the setting to put on the pentagon thing. The problem I'm having is:
I thought the setting was supposed to be in the canal between the cathedral and the Black Die Tavern. One post said when you go through the third gate, look for the entrance to the grotto. Well I'm only finding 2 gates or grates. The one closest to the cathedral I could pick and the next one in I used the canal key on but I've looked everywhere from the cathedral to the black die and still no setting!
Help please!? :tsktsk:

Not finding the Vampyre Blade for mission 2 was ok, but I'm screwed if I don't have it for mission 3, so....
Where is "The Vampyre Blade" in mission #3? I am on Easiest diffifculty!
Nightwalker on 2/1/2003 at 01:37
You don't have to have the sword for Mission #3. The equipment doesn't carry over from one level to the next, so it makes no difference. You can't get the Vampyre Blade on Easy. If you want to try it out, you'll have to replay on Hard or Expert. :)
