I was wondering what the hell Alcandor is. A cardinal of what? Not Hammerites. The guard say "I'd like to join the Hammers" or something. Their uniforms are Mechanist-style, yet there is no gear as a symbol, and they have hammers, not maces. So what? :confused:

the floor is marble if i remember correctly, use a moss arrow, blackjack her if you have your blackjack. And if read the letter to doctor provost in the museum, his access did not include the 3rd floor vault. How did you get the key from the guard for the vault?

[SPOILER]On the second floor by the staris going up to the third (the floor where the diamond is), there is a chair. When the lamp guard goes upstairs hide by the side of the chair farthest from the stairs and when the guard comes back down, lean forward over the chair and take it, he doesn't notice[/SPOILER]
Oh, and I don't have a blackjack! I'm playing on expert, so is there any way t get it? All I have is the blade from the Mage's Guild

you get your blackjack by meeting mercedes at the Old widow Inn across town, this triggers NOLD, so I suggest you do as much as you can beforehand.
have you found the gemstones yet?
