Not that I remember, nope way too dangerous.
I only stole the balcony key from a passing guard.

Does anyone know where to find the final eye of the amulet? (not the ghoul's or the vampire's)
Purah, since you designed this level, input from you would be helpful! ;)

Good luck getting Purah to answer. Last time I heard, the taffer had got a job as a designer at Arkane(Arx Fatalis). Let's just say that he's not a very frequent visitor anymore.
Edit: Oh, and since you're new: Welcome to the wilderness that is TTLG. Do not feed the trolls.

Hi Friendly Zombie (great name BTW):
If you don't know how to get into the garden, look here:
(many people have gotten stumped!)
You need to shoot a broad arrow through the bars of the locked gate. There's a switch on the far wall.
Thanks everyone, I got the ruby (and figured out how to get into the gardern)
Next question: how do I make this bloody spell work? I've collected all the items, and put them all in the required places. Even in the order the book says to do it! I left my computer on for ten minutes and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

I can't get the spell too work either. I think it may be because I knocked all the mages out when stealing the sword earlier.
Ponterbee on 24/4/2005 at 03:14
You don't need the mages alive to cast the spell.
Are you sure all the items are in the correct parts of the pentagram-thingie on the floor? You need to drop the book just right- and it doesn't take longer than five seconds. Just keep trying and you'll get it right eventually.
Trust me- you'll KNOW when you did it right.

The thing is: the book is too big to be completely in the segment.

I'm usually all thumbs when it comes to physical feats in FMs, but it worked the first time for me.
What I did was (for each item) to run onto the magic circle, look straight down to drop the item on the right spot, then run for cover behind a pillar. Once "it" stops firing at you, run out and repeat with the next item.
Picking up the ghoul's eye sometimes causes zombies to come running, so don't forget to watch and listen from a safe place when you pick it up.
