Just in a case, you should have patched before starting the mission. And yes, try to use DL.

when i patched i had to restart anyways!
it invalidates all saves! - so i guess ill have to install DL - i CAN set it up to read the zips from the folder they are curently in can i not?
(i have T1 FMs in a "T1 FMs" folder and T2's are in, well, "T2 FMs" folder!!!)

Sure - so long as those folders aren't in either of your Thief installation folders.

Does anyone know if there's a glitch in this fm as when i try to reset the amulet exactly in the order that the the spell book tells me to, ie head first then ghoul stone etc etc, it doesn't work nothing happens? i've tried this countless times and nothing happens and yes i have all three stones the Ghoul stone the Vampyre stone and the lich stone and the amulet and the spell book and have placed them in the order that the spell book tells me to?
What i can tell you is i have blackjacked the three mages and the eye in the sky is out and shooting fire bolts at me if i go out where it can get me,
does this have some bearing on it?
Also all the objectives don't seem to be ticking off properly as i've completed nearly all of them, but only the diamond and the blade are ticked?
Anyway hope someone can throw some light on this as i would like to try out the amulet!

The last time i tried it i waited 27 minutes "sad :( I know lol" i went and had a cup of tea and then came back to my pc still no go!
I really wanted to see it thru lol:laff:.
