Europe is getting the PC version March 24th, and North America's getting it on the 27th.
On a related note, those of us who've been waiting for the PC version owe a big thanks to the lead engineer on the project (TheHoodedClaw on the official forums) who put in some unpaid overtime by himself to put the finishing touches on the PC port.

Good to hear! I can't wait to get it! So now we know for sure the PC port will be better than the console version. :D

Actually, we know that not to be the case. The port is utterly bare bones, and will almost certainly not be supported as the devlopment house has gone under.
While I appreciate the fact that one guy has worked on the port as a love of labor, this doesn't sound very promising.

Even though it's a straight port, I'm still glad to be getting a (probably) slightly buggy, less-than-optimal PC version rather than being forced to rent an X-Box to play it. Considering the dearth of Lovecraftian games on the PC this game will have to cause a massive hardware failure or contain some massive show-stopping bugs for me to start wailing and gnashing my teeth. I should probably wait several months or so for some l33t haxxorz to come up with a patch and/or texture packs, etc., but I don't know if I'll be able to be that patient...

and that was on the xbox version? oh dear.
From what I've read around and about, it sounds like it has some game-breaking gameplay, but what the hell, I'm probably going to give it a shot myself just out of curiosity. I've heard the good bits are good ;) . But if you're longing for a decent Lovecraftian game, the gamecube's Eternal Darkness is the only one that comes even close to getting it right, in my experience. It's an excellent game.

What I'd do for a sequel to that game.

the devlopment house has gone under.I don't exactly know where you get that idea from. Maybe cause the developer's website was unavailable for a while? Well, (
http://www.headfirst.co.uk/) it's been revamped now. Developer seems anything but dead to me...

Ah, ok.
Still, seems strange that they - as in whoever now controls Headfirst's finances - would go ahead with revamping the website if they wanted to break up the company. Staff leaving and selling off company real estate, though, that's a different issue.
Shame. :(
