Cool. I loved Call of Juarez. It's a pity that the game never attained the popularity that it deserved.
COJ was full of highly rememberable characters such as the preacher and I hope that they put the same amount of effort into the characters in the prequel.

I wanted to like this, but the demo ran so badly on my computer even after the recent upgrades (which I did so I could actually play Bioshock...) that I couldn't justify buying it.

Very nice. I'd wondered if they'd get another game out of it since techland seem to be a bit shy on produce lately and if it didn't have the preacher then I'd be alot less interested.

I am a fag for any western-themed media. This and Gun were incredible experiences and I hope they make way for more games like them. It is an interesting time period w/incredible opportunities for interesting stories/settings.
Also, I highly recommend OddWorld:Stranger's Wrath if you like FPSs/western games/OddWorld.

Picked up Stranger's Wrath hoping it would get a backwards-compatibility patch for the 360, but no joy yet :(
On topic, I hope this turns out to be even half as good as the original.
Reverend Ray is one of my favourite videogame characters of all time.

Agreed. And honestly, CoJ felt a bit too run-and-gun for me. That's fine for Painkiller, but it feels out of place in a Western game.

Why?
