A thread title is supposed to inform the reader as to what the thread is about. The reader then can decide whether or not he or she wants to invest time in reading it. A vague, generic title such as "Do you remember..." gives so little information that no one can make an informed decision.
Plus, it breaks the flow of the sentence and is just annoying in general.
