Due to specific conditions (GNU/Linux + wine) those custom menus are just pain in the ass: the situation when menus became totally unusable (absent text or unpressable buttons) are too frequent.
Can I somehow modify FM to force it to use the default Thief menu?

Yes, I can. It is enough just to delete all files from /interface subdirectory.

Just try to rename intrface folder in FM/intrface.

Well, not all the files in intrface. You presumably still want maps and objectives.

I've left directories but deleted all files. Everything is ok. At least I hope so :)

1. Specific fonts.
2. Statistic screen configuration file.

if you delete all files in \intrface then you also deleted all objectives and maps. Leave all files in missXX subfolders and it should be OK.
