Can Thief 3 : DS - be displayed in widescreen mode?

Hello, I'm Mydnyte and I'm new to the forums. I tried playing Thief 3: DS on my widescreen monitor and the picture was stretched to the full width of the widescreen. Is there a way I can get it to display in actual widescreen mode? If not then just displayed in standard full screen aspect ratio on my monitor. My graphics card is hooked up to my monitor with the digital input. Would it only display in standard full screen ratio hooked up with the analog input only? I would like to have the game displayed decently and not stretched all funky looking. Thanks for your time and any replies.
