Just found out last night, they are coming to Dallas in October at the Granada Theater, I'm excited! Small venue, should be a damn good night! Buying tickets as soon as we can. Who wants to go!!! Lets go! fett, I know you'd go. :)

If I'm there in October, it's a date! Plus, there's rumor they'll be out with Dream Theater at that point because both of the new albums are coming out in September - DT's first with Mike Mangini behind the kit, so that warrants inspection in and of itself...
in before dethy's James Labia crack

ohhhh, that would be the ultimate, both bands. We did see DT last year, they opened for Iron Maiden, pfft. They were shit, we wanted more of DT, of course. Leatherman wants Opeth, DT, and PT. Doesn't hurt to dream. If anyone is going to be around in October, look us up!

Dethtoll shitting on other people's music tastes once again.

I don't care new or old, they will play both for sure. Old stuff is what I'm most interested in hearing and seeing anyway. A band that hardly tours the US, has produced brilliant music, is worth seeing. How do you know exactly what the new album is going to be like? You can't judge something you haven't heard.

I saw them once when they came to Edmonton for the Ghost Reveries tour. They're a fantastic live band, and as compensation for their previous Edmonton show getting cancelled (due to gear/drummer issues) they played a 2 1/2 hour set.
dethtoll: why do you always focus on Watershed when the band actually had.. wait lemme count... EIGHT great albums before that? EIGHT! Surely they're allowed a misstep or two.

Because their next album is another step in the same direction, judging by the material I've already heard? Because looking back on it now, Watershed was such a massive, unbelievable disappointment, that it was the catalyst for my eventual giving up on metal? (I'm only just recently getting back into it)
also lol at people thinking i'm shitting on anyone's tastes, some people don't have any tastes to shit on

Shit or not, it won't be all shit, I don't care. They rarely play the US, I'm going, and looking forward to it. Rolling stones I heard is opening for them.
