I took a look at the free one and it should be OK. I take it you don't think it's within your skill set?
Edit: Well, I was wrong. While it will pass through and create a bin, it has 8124 polys, and so needs to be reduced in size to maybe 1800 or so polys to be usable. I don't have the bandwidth to do that. If someone wants the 3ds version of this to start with, I can provide that, or you can download the max version from the website yourself and go from there.

Hi Larry. Not really in my skill set, but I will figure out how to do it. OR ... I think I found one for sale at $5. It has 1800 polys, and they off a free conversion to any file type. I'll look into it. I can still share it with the community if I use a purchased object?

If you buy it, there will be Ts & Cs about your rights. You probably won't have the right to share it since they are selling it. But you should have the right to use it in your mission. Check the Ts & Cs before you buy.
Also, when they say 1800 polys, that may not be the poly count that gets generated by 3dstobin. The free one I pointed to claimed to be 245 polys, but the bin file generated from it ended up as 8124 polys. Be sure you can return it if it ends up being unusable.
