Because I cannot find the words to express how I love these realistic textures, I'll let Benny speak for me: "Beeaaauuttiiiffuuulll thiiing!!!"

Just re-quoting this comment o the Bafford brick textures (and the others which share the same base), as it looks like it was missed:

The black parts of this texture are too dark. In-game, they look like deep holes between the bricks, where realistically there'd be mortar (or at least the top / rounded edge of the bricks.)

NamelessVOice can you "carpetize" this like you did those Bafford carpets?

It's one of those "What is it?" textures I'm afraid, Wille.

How is it classified in the Textures hierarchy? That should give a good hint of what it is. Bone, Metal, Wood, Tile, Stone, Glass, Earth, Carpet, Vegetation, what?
Edit: I find it under Carpet. So my guess, regardless of where it shows up in the architecture, is that it should look like carpet.

It could be silk carpet, of course. That way, the Cathedral textures could serve as banners, after a fashion.
Personally, I wouldn't be keen on great swathes of "Shag Pile" festooning The Haunted Cathedral. Oh Yeah Baby!
Maybe LarryG would, though.."You can tell by the way he likes to post..he's a ladies man..":cheeky:

Oooooooo, shag carpet! Takes me right back to the 60's.
Um. No, not shag IMHO. Maybe more a tapestry looking carpet.
Purgator on 9/2/2014 at 14:26
So, it's gone from carpet to tapestry? Is that classified in the Textures Hierarchy? Tapestry looking Carpet, Wood looking Metal, Glass looking Ceramic, Goldie lookin' Chain, what? :cheeky:
I agree though, a woven tapestry texture may fit the bill.

I made an attempt at that before, but it looked horrible.
Here's attempt #2 using your cleaned up shapes:

http://i.imgur.com/690gx3n.jpgI think it looks quite good, but it's missing.... something. I'm not quite sure what. The orange parts look a little bit too plain.
