Awesome, thanks. Although I have to say I love the darkwindow effect personally.

Been searching for this particular texture for a while. I'm not sure it's even wood. Could be brass/bronze or copper?
I've always assumed from the extreme shininess that it's a copper (or some kind of metal) bas relief.
Hey, you seem to know a bit more about art history than the average bear. Do paintings #1 or #3 in (

After close inspection, I can confirm that it is either a copper or bronze relief...ruling out the possibility of a stained and lacquered wood.
Looking forward to the SCP...:D

It could be a polished wood. It looks more wood paneling. It must be more in a castle/palace. It could be in a Church but personnaly i don't think that.
This theme is a the Most-Christian Prince (here the Emperor). It could be applied in the French King (Roy de France et de Navare), who had the title of Most-Christian, or in the Spanish Netherlands, whith the King of Spain who is the "catholic king" who was the direct rival to the king of France. So the theme of this scene is emintently politic, it's the reason which push me to think that it can't be in a Church or cathedral.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but is it alright for people to use these textures in FMs and just give credit to the artist?

I hate to post empty handed, but I haven't found anything matching those images. The first image could be a Max Ernst/Oscar Dominguez painting, employing the Surrealist technique of Decalcomania. The third image could be a collage of some sort.
I'll keep looking though, this has captured my curiosity.
