And were you going to tone down the orange on that orange stack to make it more red?
What? Is burnt umber not good enough for you?
Check the above again. See what you think.

When this is all over, you should take a vacation. Or play Thief. :cheeky:
I'm gonna get drunk.

Tone them down so they blend in better with the other books (like the other brownish-red ones).

Maybe we'll have a party here in LA, where Larry and I live, when all this is done...

GAWWW! I knew someone was going to say that. Check out the above image now. I tried to match it to the other red books.

By the time all this is done, I'll probably be too shellshocked to drive. You'll have to come to me, and...yeah, pay for the beer.
Not to say I don't appreciate the offer. I do. But I want free beer. :P

Books look good...everything looks pretty tight now, save for perhaps the label thing Larry mentioned...then cobwebs.
By the way, how far is the drive?
Renzatic on 22/10/2012 at 07:40
The label thing I'm holding off on, hoping the spiderwebs offer up enough variance that I don't have to worry about it.
And the drive? I live in a little town called Ringgold, GA just 15 minutes south of Chattanooga, TN. I'm all the way over on the other side of the country from you.
...which is why I'd rather you all drive if anything goes on. :P
Yandros on 22/10/2012 at 11:08
No shit. I'm from west TN originally, and now live about 4-5 hours up I-75 from you.

I don't see a difference yet; I'm looking at the top image, the more red-brown one ... the bluish one looks fine.
ZylonBane on 22/10/2012 at 14:56
Detail-wise, looks great. Color-wise, especially when viewed next to the original, it looks like it has a sepia filter over it.

Yeah, that's what I've been trying to tell him ("need more bluish tint")...
but this has been met with great resistance...

It doesn't need a bluish tint. It needs to not look like it's using the Quake palette.
