Your mortal enemy has returned! :O
Remember, I'm editing two pictures here. There's the original document with the huge layer stack that I draw and alter fine details on. When I've got something to submit as a semifinal, I'll collapse it down most of the way, then start tweaking the colors to taste. If I ever have to make big changes to the image itself, I revert back to that first image. Hence why the colors constantly bounce back and forth
Confusing? Yeah, a bit. But that's why the orange books went red, then went back to orange again. Blame my dumb, unnecessarily convoluted ways of doing things.
And thanks for tipping one back in my honor. It was pretty fun hanging out with the old crowd tonight. Even if we're all old and cantankerous these days. :P

There's an evil face peering out at me from the shadows!

Damn. I was gonna leave it in if no one noticed.
Hell. I might do it anyway.

That's not an evil face, that's Ren trying to angrily escape the bookcase prison.

Yup. That's me. I'm the one who broke the shelf, too.

In your anger, of course...The question is, will you ever escape?...or will you be doomed to spend an eternity within the webs?

That's starting to look lovely, but why did you have to include my portrait?

He's stuck in between "Sing Sing To Your Hearts Content" And "Alcatraz To Succeed". In bold, black sharpie as written on red-bordered note-stickers.
(Please don't try to figure out the word pun with "Alcatraz". I couldn't either, so I just bit the bullet and wrote something basic.)
On a sidenote, Ren, have you talked to necrobob? You two seem to be doing the same thing (And doing it in mostly the same way). So maybe you could join forces?

I was never quite sure about that texture. It's hard to judge because it looks so much more like something than the original blurry mess. I think I'd have to see it in-game to judge how well it fits in.
As for the tiles... that version still has those visible squares, but, like you said, the blurred version looks a little too smooth and clean.
I never really looked that closely at the ornamentation, but it does look quite good when I use my image comparer. Again, though, I think I'd have to see how it compares to the original in-game.
Do you think you could take before/after screenshots of all three textures in-game?
Edit: The ornamentation is used as a tile floor in the Keeper facility in THC, which also has those cobweb-covered bookshelves and the Keeper tiles. I don't see any of those wooden panels there, though.
